Bob Marcusse, President and CEO of the Kansas City Area Development Council, will discuss KCRising, a plan to elevate Kansas City to national prominence, attract talent, create entrepreneurial companies, expand local employment and add 1500 jobs from newly recruited companies. The Kansas City Area Development Council is an organization tasked with recruiting, and retaining companies to Kansas City. It is made up of over 250 corporations (many who are members of HARC) throughout the greater metropolitan area which includes 18 counties. Mr. Marcusse will also discuss what he sees on the horizon for Kansas City in this economic climate.
